Un accord de principe sur une nouvelle convention collective de travail des salariés de banque 2018-2020 a été trouvé mercredi 9 mai, au terme d’une journée de négociations, entre l’association patronale ABBL d’une part et le front commun syndical ALEBA – OGBL Secteur Financier – LCGB-SESF d’autre part.
Cet accord porte notamment sur l’introduction d’un nouveau système de classification et de rémunération, dont le paiement d’une prime de juin augmentée de 10 % en 2018, sur des améliorations sur le volet « temps de travail » ainsi que sur « l’accord formation existant ».
Il reste soumis à l’approbation des organes statutaires respectifs de chacune des parties.
Il va sans dire que si telle approbation devait intervenir, les partenaires sociaux procèderont à la rédaction du texte définitif de la nouvelle convention collective dans les plus brefs délais.
Lors de l’assemblée des délégués du LCGB-SESF en date du 14 mai 2018, ces derniers ont validé l’accord de principe concernant la nouvelle convention collective de travail du secteur banques (CCT).

New CBA for Banks: agreement in principle
An agreement in principle on a new collective bargaining agreement for bank employees 2018-2020 was found Wednesday, 9 May, after a day of negotiations, between the employers’ association ABBL on the one hand and the common trade union front ALEBA – OGBL Financial Sector – LCGB-SESF on the other hand.
This agreement includes the introduction of a new classification and remuneration system, including the payment of a June bonus increased by 10% in 2018, improvements regarding “working time” and the “existing training agreement”.
It remains subject to the approval of the respective statutory bodies of each party.
It goes without saying that if such approval were to occur, the social partners will proceed to drafting the final text of the new collective bargaining agreement as soon as possible.
